AutoMine is Sandvik's comprehensive equipment automation product family covering underground and surface mining. The underground portfolio includes Tele-Remote (single-machine remote control), Lite (single-machine autonomous), Multi-Lite (multi-machine autonomous), and Fleet (full-fleet automation with automated mission assignment and traffic control). AutoMine enables trucks and loaders to autonomously navigate mines during full production cycles, including shift changes and blast clearance.

DISPATCH uses linear programming, best-path, and dynamic programming algorithms to automatically assign haul trucks to loading and dumping points, minimizing queue times and maximizing production. It provides centralized management of all mine operations — equipment allocation, shift changes, refueling, and downtime events — via real-time mine graphics and in-cab operator guidance. The system supports all major truck and equipment brands with over 175 OEM interfaces.

FleetControl adds active dispatch and operational control capabilities on top of FleetOps. It provides drag-and-drop fleet assignment, material tracking, time and activity management, and mine plan execution through a simple, supervisor-friendly interface designed for frontline use rather than dedicated dispatch controllers.

FleetOps automatically captures production data, cycle times, and equipment utilization through GPS tracking and algorithmic interpretation — no in-cab operator screens or input required. This eliminates data-entry burden on operators while providing accurate production reporting, KPI tracking, and asset utilization metrics. The store-and-forward architecture eliminates the need for expensive site-wide wireless connectivity. FleetOps partners with Australian hardware firm Motium for rugged, OEM-agnostic edge computing devices.

GroundHog's open-pit FMS delivers real-time monitoring of all surface activities from production bench to central office. It provides AI-driven dispatch optimization, automated load counting, GPS tracking, geofencing, and payload monitoring for any OEM equipment. The system runs on commercially available tablets, dramatically reducing hardware costs, and connects via open APIs with SAP, ArcGIS, and mine planning software.

GroundHog's underground FMS extends the platform into sub-surface operations with real-time location services (RTLS), 3D mine mapping, and automated activity sequencing. A proprietary peer-to-peer mesh network extends data connectivity to remote underground areas where Wi-Fi infrastructure is unavailable, enabling near-real-time data capture without expensive network build-out across the entire mine.

Mission Manager is an advanced dispatch optimization module that builds on top of the MineOperate FMS platform. It empowers dispatchers with full situational control over vehicle operations, enabling strategic decisions that go beyond standard fleet management — including fuel cost reduction through idling-time targeting, dynamic haulage route optimization, and intelligent assignment of autonomous vehicles in mixed-fleet environments.

OP Pro LP provides real-time production visibility, automated process optimization, and intelligent haulage and blending optimization for surface mines. It employs peer-to-peer communication technology, enabling equipment to communicate directly without reliance on centralized network infrastructure — ensuring robust, uninterrupted data flow even in challenging mine site environments with limited connectivity.

UG Pro is an underground fleet management and mine control system that monitors mobile assets for run-time statistics, provides recommendations to optimise fleet utilization, and integrates with short-interval control scheduling. It features a reporting engine for scenario modeling, a common industrial tablet platform for operators, and standard SQL databases enabling integration with third-party BI and ERP tools.

Mine4D Guidance integrates high-precision machine guidance with the Mine4D FMS on a single in-cab display, eliminating the need for a separate guidance computer and screen. Operators can view bucket tooth or blade position compared with the design surface in real time, eliminating over/under excavation and the costly rehandling that results. The system supports dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and surface miners across all OEMs.

Mine4D Production is iVolve's flagship FMS, enabling real-time decision-making through in-cab operator feedback and complete truck load cycle monitoring. It captures tonnage, load pass details, material type, load/dump locations, activity and delay codes, and vehicle state. A real-time site-wide view with user-friendly graphics aids dispatch personnel and shift managers.

MineStar Command encompasses multiple sub-products: Command for hauling (fully autonomous truck fleets), Command for drilling, Command for dozing, and Command for underground. Command for hauling has been in commercial operation since approximately 2013, with proven deployments at major global mining operations. In 2025, it expanded to the quarry segment.

MineStar EDGE provides core fleet management capabilities via a cloud-based platform with easy-to-install onboard hardware. Designed for smaller operations and quarries, EDGE delivers near-real-time operational visibility — up to 98% accuracy — without the infrastructure requirements and cost of enterprise MineStar Fleet. It allows operators to make in-shift adjustments with downstream visibility into load counts, cycle times, and equipment utilization.

MineStar Fleet is Caterpillar's core dispatch and fleet management system. It automatically records and tracks operational data across the entire mining value chain — cycle times, payloads, material blends, and key parameters — while automatically assigning haul trucks to deliver the right material to the right place. Fleet minimizes truck wait times at shovels and fuel stops, automates fuel scheduling and shift changes, and prevents misroutes.

Minetrack is a comprehensive electronic dispatch and fleet management system, originally developed by Sodep (acquired by Datamine in 2023) and proven at 40+ mine sites across Latin America. The system enables real-time mine operation management with complete control over the productive fleet using proprietary communication hardware. Each piece of equipment is tracked through its entire production cycle, with intelligent algorithms maximising productivity while reducing operational costs.

MT OneMine is Mining TAG's flagship FMS designed specifically for underground mining. Equipment is fitted with sensors and field computers, while RFID tagging tracks equipment location throughout the mine. The system uses machine learning — trained on sensor data — to automatically detect operational activities such as bucket loading, translating raw data into automatic bucket load counting and productivity metrics.

OptiMine is a modular, open-architecture information management and process optimization suite designed specifically for underground mining. It integrates data from all assets and people — including non-Sandvik equipment — into a single source, delivering real-time descriptive and predictive insights. Modules include Monitoring and Reporting, Location Tracking (real-time 3D), Scheduler and Task Management (automated dispatch to underground operators), Drill Plan Visualizer, 3D Mine Visualizer, and Analytics.

Pitram is a fully scalable fleet management and mine control platform deployed at 60+ mine sites across 14 countries in 5 languages. It consolidates operational data across equipment, material, locations, and personnel to deliver data-driven insights. Pitram tracks shift progress, analyses long-term trends, and includes modules for fleet and production monitoring, shift planning, materials management, inventory tracking, and operator qualification management.

Pronto AHS converts conventional haul trucks into autonomous vehicles through a retrofit kit that can be installed in days. The camera-based tier (ideal for fleets under 10 trucks, 30–150 ton capacity) provides an affordable entry point, while the premium multi-sensor system offers ASIL D safety certification for larger, safety-critical operations. The system includes autonomous navigation, obstacle detection, fleet location monitoring, source/destination management, and individual truck performance metrics.

ProVision provides centimetre-level GNSS positioning to guide drill rigs, dozers, excavators, and loaders to design surfaces and patterns. It reduces rework and improves material recovery by ensuring operators execute mine designs accurately. By comparing real-time machine position against the mine design, ProVision eliminates over-excavation and re-handling costs while improving bench quality.

Proximiti integrates long-range GPS-based collision awareness with short-range radar proximity detection, using iVolve's wireless mesh network for precise real-time tracking of equipment and personnel across the mine site. When equipment or personnel enter or exit predefined geofenced zones, in-cab and control room alerts trigger immediately, allowing operators and supervisors to respond before incidents occur.

Wencolite is a lighter-weight FMS designed for smaller mining operations and quarries that need fundamental fleet visibility without the cost and complexity of a full enterprise deployment. It does not require site-wide wireless network infrastructure, keeping installation and ongoing maintenance costs low while delivering dump truck tracking, peer-to-peer communication between machines, and excavator/truck performance reporting.

Wencomine is Wenco's flagship FMS for large-scale open-pit mines. It tracks excavator positions, truck counts, travel speeds, and calculates material volumes based on ore content, using this data to automatically plan efficient loading positions, truck dispatching priorities, and hauling routes. The system combines GNSS technology, wireless infrastructure, on-board computers, and SQL-compliant databases.
