OptiMine

OptiMine is a modular, open-architecture information management and process optimization suite designed specifically for underground mining. It integrates data from all assets and people — including non-Sandvik equipment — into a single source, delivering real-time descriptive and predictive insights. Modules include Monitoring and Reporting, Location Tracking (real-time 3D), Scheduler and Task Management (automated dispatch to underground operators), Drill Plan Visualizer, 3D Mine Visualizer, and Analytics.

OptiMine Analytics employs proprietary predictive models using data from not just the mine's own fleet but Sandvik's entire global installed base of equipment. The platform was integrated with Newtrax IoT devices (acquired 2019) to create a combined system for underground mine digitalization — OptiMine as the analytics and decision layer, Newtrax providing environmental monitoring, collision avoidance, and personnel tracking hardware.
