Wencomine is Wenco's flagship FMS for large-scale open-pit mines. It tracks excavator positions, truck counts, travel speeds, and calculates material volumes based on ore content, using this data to automatically plan efficient loading positions, truck dispatching priorities, and hauling routes. The system combines GNSS technology, wireless infrastructure, on-board computers, and SQL-compliant databases.
The Dynamic Dispatch module algorithmically assigns trucks in real time, reportedly increasing truck cycles by 11% and reclaiming weeks of operating hours annually. Integrated modules include Fleet Control (real-time haul cycle monitoring), PitNav (turn-by-turn navigation), Fleet Awareness (V2X collision avoidance), BenchManager (shovel guidance), Maintenance Monitor, TireMax, Readyline (asset health), and the Avoca Mining Intelligence Suite for business analytics. Wencomine's Public API enables third-party integration and supports Hitachi CM's Autonomous Haulage System.
