About Wenco
Founded in 1983, Wenco International Mining Systems is a Canadian mining technology company developing fleet management systems and associated technologies for surface mining. A wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery since 2009, Wenco's systems are deployed at approximately 100 customer sites globally, operated by companies including De Beers, Syncrude, KCGM, US Steel, and Canadian Natural Resources.
Wenco has positioned itself as a champion of open autonomy in mining, actively working to establish ISO 23725 — an international standard for interoperability between autonomous systems and fleet management.
