MineStar Fleet

MineStar Fleet is Caterpillar's core dispatch and fleet management system. It automatically records and tracks operational data across the entire mining value chain — cycle times, payloads, material blends, and key parameters — while automatically assigning haul trucks to deliver the right material to the right place. Fleet minimizes truck wait times at shovels and fuel stops, automates fuel scheduling and shift changes, and prevents misroutes.

The system works with any machine regardless of brand, making it suitable for mixed-fleet operations. It integrates with the four other MineStar modules — Terrain (machine guidance), Detect (safety/collision awareness), Health (equipment monitoring), and Command (autonomous operations) — to form a comprehensive, scalable technology platform for both surface and underground mining.
