GIM Essentials

Launched in July 2025, GIM Essentials is acQuire's entry-level geological data management product designed for smaller companies and junior explorers developing a resource. It provides a simplified, modern interface that guides geologists through an end-to-end geological data workflow — from data capture through to validated, export-ready datasets — without the configuration complexity of the full GIM Suite.

GIM Essentials represents a strategic move by acQuire to compete for the lower end of the market, where cloud-native, lower-cost alternatives like Seequent's MX Deposit and maxgeo's DataShed have gained traction among junior explorers and smaller operators. It provides a pathway for companies to start with accessible data management and scale into the full GIM Suite as their operations grow.
