About Studio OP
Studio OP (Open Pit) is Datamine's specialised surface mine design and planning tool, complementing Studio RM by providing dedicated open-pit mine design, scheduling, and reserves estimation capabilities. It sits within the broader Studio software series alongside Studio UG for underground operations.
Additional scheduling and optimisation products in the Datamine portfolio include ORDO (scheduling optimisation) and Studio NPVS/NPVS+ (NPV scheduling). The Minemax products — acquired by Datamine's parent Constellation Software in 2020 — are kept under separate branding.
