iSystain

iSystain is a cloud-based platform designed to support Health, Safety and Environment management, sustainability reporting, compliance and governance, and social investment reporting. Originally developed by Systar, an Australian company founded in 2004, iSystain was acquired by Vela Software in March 2022 and now operates within Datamine's ESG business unit.

The platform offers flexible, modular functionality for managing safety, health, environment, carbon footprint, and corporate social responsibility data. It helps organisations establish baseline performance, set improvement targets, and adapt to changing legislative requirements and international standards. iSystain consolidates ESG data to facilitate performance reports for multiple stakeholders and scales from small domestic implementations to large global mining operations.

While initially developed for multi-sector use across resources, construction, manufacturing, and retail, its integration into Datamine has sharpened its focus on the mining sector. Datamine also offers additional ESG products including Zyght for HSE management and PeopleTray for workforce and competency management within the same ESG business unit.
