About Akselos Integra

Akselos Integra creates sensor-calibrated, physics-based digital twins of complex engineering structures. For mining, this means creating digital replicas of stackers, reclaimers, and shiploaders — the critical bulk materials handling equipment that operates continuously at mine sites and ports and represents enormous capital investment.

The platform uses RB-FEA to provide millimetre-level visibility into structural integrity across the entire structure, identifying stress hotspots and fatigue accumulation before they escalate into failures. Users can simulate different operational scenarios to determine how changes in throughput, boom angle, and loading patterns affect structural integrity and remaining asset life, enabling informed decisions about maintenance timing and operational limits.

Akselos Integra integrates with existing sensor networks and SCADA systems, making it deployable on currently operating structures without requiring new hardware infrastructure beyond the existing monitoring network. The combination of physics-based modeling (versus purely data-driven approaches) means the digital twin can extrapolate accurately to operating conditions not yet observed, which is critical for safety-critical infrastructure decisions.
