The 3DEXPERIENCE GEOVIA platform is Dassault's next-generation cloud-based mining solution providing a comprehensive, real-time view of mine business activity and operations. It hosts specialised roles covering the full mine lifecycle: Geology Modeler, Pit Optimizer, Strategic Mine Planner, Surface and Underground Mine Designer, and a full suite of caving roles including Cave Footprint Finder, Cave Planning Manager, Cave Scheduler, and Cave Management System.

The platform enables mining companies to assess project value before breaking ground, design and optimise before construction, and run advanced analytics for operational insight. Its GMX pit optimisation engine delivers significantly faster runtimes than legacy methods. The R2025x release expanded subsurface geology modeling with localized faulting and advanced sedimentary deposit modeling.

Unlike standalone simulation tools, the platform provides collaborative multi-discipline simulation in a single cloud environment — connecting geology, engineering, planning, and operations teams around a unified virtual twin of the mine. It serves open pit and underground operations across all major commodity types.
