About Shift Support
Shift Support (formerly Mobilaris Planning and Scheduling) is a short-term Gantt scheduler for planning, dispatching, and tracking shift progress in real time across all task types — development, production, and maintenance. Features include plan-vs-actual tracking for direct feedback on shift performance, rapid replanning capability within seconds, and instant task updates via the Operator Client tablet app running on Android. The tool integrates with Situational Awareness to display the real-time state of assets and headings.
The Operator Client creates a closed-loop SIC process: planners set the shift schedule, operators execute against it with real-time visibility, and supervisors can replan mid-shift when deviations occur. Work orders are sent directly to field devices, and ad-hoc activities and delays can be reported back to the control room in real time.
Shift Support is part of Epiroc's 6th Sense digital portfolio and is being deployed at Vale, Hindustan Zinc, and other underground operations where it pairs with Situational Awareness for a complete operational picture.
