About Situational Awareness
Situational Awareness (formerly Mobilaris Situational Awareness) is a real-time 3D visualization platform for underground mines, accessible in control rooms and on mobile devices. The system integrates positioning data from any network infrastructure to display the location and status of all tracked assets and personnel on a 3D mine model, regardless of OEM. It provides transparent spatial awareness across the entire underground environment.
The platform integrates with Shift Support to overlay production status, machine telemetry, and environmental sensor data. Additional Mobilaris products complement the platform: Onboard (in-vehicle navigation), PocketMine (mobile awareness app), Emergency Support (evacuation management), and Event Automation (custom automation triggers from integrated data). The Productivity Analytics module provides utilization reports and planning accuracy evaluations.
Deployed at 40+ underground mines globally including operations for Vale, Boliden, and Gold Fields, Situational Awareness is used by control room operators to see the full underground picture and by shift managers to make faster redeployment decisions.
