About MiningMath

MiningMath uses Direct Block Scheduling (DBS) to optimise directly from the block model, eliminating the traditional multi-step workflow (pit optimisation → nested pits → pushback definition → scheduling) that has dominated the industry. Its proprietary Math Programming Solver simultaneously considers pit limits, mining sequencing, material destinations, blending, cut-off grades, geometric constraints (mining widths, bottom widths, vertical advance rates), and NPV maximisation — all in a single run.

Key capabilities include Super Best Case analysis (unconstrained NPV maximisation), single-step pushbacks and schedules, multi-destination and multi-mine optimisation, and built-in stochastic mine planning — the only commercial tool offering this capability. MiningMath is the only product in the market that does not require predefined pushbacks. Version 3.0 (2025) added Python scripting, rotated models, and enhanced data validation.

A free Community tier is available for pit optimisation. Full licences are available for mining companies, consultancies, and academic institutions.
