KruxMetrix

KruxMetrix is the web-based analytics companion to KruxLog, providing performance tracking, cost analysis, KPI monitoring, and corporate dashboards that normalise data across global operations for meaningful cross-site comparison. Mining companies and drilling contractors use KruxMetrix to understand rig utilisation, productivity by driller, cost variance by project, and operational efficiency benchmarks across their portfolio of rigs and projects.

Recent additions include an Advanced Core Recovery Calculator for underground and diamond drilling programs, and built-in APIs for connecting drilling data to payroll systems, reporting tools, and geological database systems. The cross-operation benchmarking capability — enabled by Krux's standardised data model — is particularly valuable for large contractors running dozens of rigs across multiple client sites and commodity types, where raw performance comparison across heterogeneous datasets would otherwise be impossible.

KruxMetrix competes with BlackFox's analytics dashboards, CorePlan's analytics features, and bespoke Power BI/Tableau implementations that mining companies build on top of raw drilling data. Its differentiation is the normalised data model developed specifically for mining and exploration drilling, which enables like-for-like comparisons across geographically and geologically diverse operations.
