Krux Analytics

Krux Analytics was founded in 2016 in Calgary by Jody Conrad, a mechanical engineer who previously built automated drilling rigs for oil and gas. The company found strong product-market fit in mining, addressing the industry's reliance on spreadsheets and fragmented drilling data. IMDEX acquired a strategic 40% stake in Krux in April 2023 for A$6.42M, accelerating product development and global expansion — IMDEX Mobile customers are migrating to the Krux platform.

Krux operates on over 600 rigs worldwide across six continents, with offices in Calgary and Perth. The platform captures, validates, and analyses drilling data in near real-time with normalized data enabling meaningful cross-operation comparisons — a capability that drilling contractors and mining companies running multiple rigs across multiple sites find particularly valuable. The platform is SOC II compliant.
