CorePlan 2.0 (launched September 2024) is a SaaS platform that replaces paper-based and spreadsheet-driven drilling operations with a digital workflow. For exploration companies, it provides one place for geologists to plan drill programs, track production against budget, manage sample dispatch and laboratory turnaround, and generate operational and management reports. For drilling contractors, it digitises plod (Progressive Log of Drilling) capture on the rig and automates data sharing, approvals, and invoicing with clients.

Key features include digital plod management with colour-coded approval statuses, real-time drilling cost tracking with planned-vs-actual analysis, a mobile app that works offline, customisable safety and inspection forms, granular roles and permissions, and export integrations to geological databases. The usage-based pricing model (typically per plod/shift) targets both junior explorers running campaign programs and mid-tier/major companies with multiple concurrent projects.

CorePlan differentiates from older tools by being a modern, mobile-first SaaS platform with rapid implementation (2–3 weeks) and a focus on bridging the gap between drilling contractors and mining company geologists. It is complementary to geological database systems rather than a replacement for them.
