ioGAS

ioGAS is IMDEX's exploratory data analysis application for geoscience, providing powerful tools for analysing and visualising multi-element geochemical data from exploration programs. The software enables geoscientists to investigate large geochemical datasets through univariate and multivariate analysis, statistical plots, geochemical classification diagrams, and spatial projections to identify alteration patterns and vector toward mineralisation.

ioGAS integrates with aiSIRIS — IMDEX's cloud-based automated spectral mineral interpretation platform, acquired from AusSpec in 2020 — to add mineralogical context to geochemical datasets. The combination enables deeper understanding of the hydrothermal and geochemical systems driving mineralisation, beyond what geochemistry alone reveals. IMDEX's field-based handheld spectral analysis tools also feed data into ioGAS and aiSIRIS for integrated interpretation.

ioGAS competes with Reflex EVO for geochemical data analysis and general-purpose data analysis tools like Leapfrog's exploratory data analysis modules. Its differentiation is the integration with aiSIRIS spectral mineralogy and the broader IMDEX hardware-software ecosystem, providing geochemistry and mineralogy in a connected analytical environment.
