About Emesent Aura

Aura is Emesent's point cloud processing and visualisation software, included with all Hovermap deployments. It handles the complete workflow from raw LiDAR data to processed, georeferenced point clouds ready for analysis, reporting, and integration into mine planning systems.

Aura 2.0, launched in September 2025, introduced concurrent user licensing, user-selected ground control points, and check point validation for streamlined accuracy reporting. It provides real-world colorisation, enhanced detail filters, and flexible export options compatible with industry-standard formats. Aura supports scans captured via handheld, backpack, drone, or vehicle deployments and leverages RTK and SLAM technology for precise positioning in both underground and above-ground environments.

The software supports 360 Image Kit integration for panoramic imagery overlaid with point clouds. Aura exports to formats compatible with mine planning software including Datamine, Vulcan, and Deswik, enabling scanned reality data to flow directly into planning workflows as foundational digital twin inputs.

Akselos Integra

by Akselos

Akselos Integra creates sensor-calibrated, physics-based digital twins of complex engineering structures. For mining, this means creating digital replicas of stackers, reclaimers, and shiploaders — the critical bulk materials handling equipment that operates continuously at mine sites and ports and represents enormous capital investment.

AVEVA Dynamic Simulation

by AVEVA

AVEVA Dynamic Simulation (formerly known as DYNSIM) models real-time, time-dependent behaviour of industrial processes using first-principles equipment models with rigorous thermodynamic and fluid flow calculations. It supports engineering validation, control system testing, and operator training by replicating dynamic plant conditions during startup, shutdown, normal, and emergency operations.
