Eagle Light

A compact, small form-factor drowsiness detection device designed for light vehicles — 4WDs, dual-cabs, and small commercial vehicles used by mine supervisors and field personnel. Based on a rugged handheld device, it automatically starts and shuts down with vehicle ignition and pairs via Bluetooth with Optalert wireless glasses.

Eagle Light addresses the often-overlooked fatigue risk for light vehicle operators on mine sites. While haul truck fatigue monitoring receives the most attention in mining safety programs, supervisors and field staff travelling between pit, plant, and camp in light vehicles also face significant fatigue risk — particularly at shift changeover times and after extended overtime.

The compact form factor and lower deployment cost compared to Eagle Industrial make Eagle Light accessible for broader fleet coverage, allowing mine sites to extend drowsiness monitoring beyond heavy equipment operators to the full site vehicle fleet.
