SHOTPlus

SHOTPlus is Orica's flagship desktop blast design and modelling software, in the market for over 35 years and widely regarded as an industry standard. It enables users to design, visualise, and analyse blast initiation sequences across surface mine, quarry, and construction applications. The suite includes SHOTPlus (surface production), SHOTPlus Underground, and SHOTPlus Tunnel, each tailored to specific application environments.

SHOTPlus Premier, the advanced tier, offers capabilities for complex multi-pit operations including blast design templates per pit, advanced timing capability for electronic blasting systems, and automated data transfer to the BlastIQ platform. Users can develop loading rules using an extended range of parameters including bench height, burden, spacing, row number, hole parameters, and geological intercepts. The software integrates with Orica's i-kon electronic blasting systems and features import/export templates for streamlining data transfers.
