MaxMine Carbon

MaxMine Carbon leverages the platform's ultra-granular data to help open-pit mines measure, manage, and reduce Scope 1 diesel emissions. By analysing driver performance, payload efficiency, idle time, and driving patterns at high resolution, the platform enables mines to target and quantify emission reductions. MaxMine estimates that the average open-pit mine can reduce its carbon footprint by up to 20%, equating to approximately 30,000 tonnes of CO2 per year.

MaxMine Carbon won the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) Australia 2022 and the SA/NT iAwards Sustainability Solution of the Year. As carbon accounting requirements tighten for mining operations, the product addresses a growing need for granular, equipment-level emissions data beyond what conventional fleet management systems can provide.
