About HxGN MinePlan Block Model Manager

Launched in 2023, HxGN MinePlan Block Model Manager enables users to simultaneously design, populate, manage, and share block models while centrally managing massive volumes of sample points, variables, and outputs. It provides version-to-version comparisons, support for all major block model types regardless of origin, background conversion and synchronisation, API access for custom analytics, and integration with MinePlan 3D, Datamine, Vulcan, and CSV sources.

Block models are the fundamental digital twin of a mine's mineral resources — the single source of truth connecting geological interpretation to reserve estimates, production planning, and operational decisions. The Block Model Manager addresses a longstanding industry pain point: block models created in different software packages are difficult to share, version, and compare without specialist tools.

The product sits within Hexagon's broader HxGN MinePlan suite and is designed to serve both mine site geologists and corporate resource teams who need a central, auditable record of block model evolution over the life of a mine.
