About HAULSIM

HAULSIM is RPMGlobal's flagship discrete event simulation software purpose-built for mining haulage. Its 3D DES engine connects fleet assets, mining operational plans, and people to build a digital twin of any mining operation — both open pit and underground. The software models the complex, dynamic nature of a mine site in its entirety, capturing the variability, interactions, and dependencies that occur across haulage systems.

HAULSIM is used for schedule validation (testing productivity assumptions, congestion, and utilisation), decision support (stockpile management, road rules, passing bay placement), and equipment selection (individual equipment modeling, fleet matching). Users can compare diesel, hydrogen, hybrid, and electric mining fleets to evaluate fleet transition economics. The tool provides access to the industry's largest publicly available equipment library with over 1,700 pieces of equipment from all major OEMs.

HAULSIM serves mining companies ranging from single-site operators to major multinationals.
