Deswik.OPDB is an open-pit drill and blast design module within the broader Deswik suite. It provides automated hole generation, charge design, and tie-up tools that integrate directly with Deswik's mine planning, scheduling, and geological modelling capabilities. The module enables rapid pattern generation with automated tools for burden and spacing optimisation, charge calculations, and initiation sequence design.

Because Deswik.OPDB sits within the full Deswik planning environment, drill and blast engineers have direct access to geological block models, pit designs, and scheduling data — enabling blast designs that account for ore grades, geological structures, and production schedules.
