Founded in 2012, Haultrax is an Australian mining technology and consulting company headquartered in Perth. Led by Managing Director Shyamal Sharma and COO Joe Spirito, Haultrax combines fleet management software with deep operational consulting in mining change management, autonomous haulage readiness, and technology adoption. The company has built lightweight, affordable SaaS-based fleet management tools that challenge the complexity and cost barriers of legacy FMS from major OEMs.
Haultrax differentiates through its FMSaaS (Fleet Management as a Service) model — a monthly per-asset subscription with no minimum term, eliminating large upfront capital expenditure. The store-and-forward architecture eliminates the need for expensive site-wide wireless connectivity. FleetOps partners with Australian hardware firm Motium for rugged, OEM-agnostic edge computing devices.
