Dyno Nobel
A global leader in commercial explosives with a heritage tracing back to Alfred Nobel.
About Dyno Nobel
Dyno Nobel traces its lineage to Alfred Nobel's invention of dynamite and William Bickford's safety fuse, spanning over 180 years of history. The company is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of industrial explosives and blasting services, serving mining, quarrying, seismic, and construction industries across six continents. It operates 36+ manufacturing plants including initiation systems facilities in the US, Australia, Mexico, and France (via the 2022 Titanobel acquisition). In December 2024, shareholders approved renaming the parent company from Incitec Pivot Limited to Dyno Nobel Limited, reflecting the company's transformation into a pure-play explosives business following divestiture of its fertiliser operations.
Dyno Nobel's software offerings are tightly integrated with its hardware initiation systems. The company's DynoConsult consulting division provides expert drill-and-blast advisory services. Its electronic detonator products (DigiShot Plus 4G) are manufactured by DetNet, a joint venture partner. Nobel Fire and Delta E2 represent the company's increasing investment in proprietary software capabilities.

by Dyno Nobel
Delta E2 is Dyno Nobel's proprietary software for controlling the explosive energy profile within blastholes based on geological and drill data. The Preload desktop application enables users to import data from smart drills, GPS, databases, Excel files, and Dyno Nobel mobile applications to create targeted loading plans where different emulsion densities can be applied to each borehole — and up to six different densities within segments of a single borehole.
Nobel Fire
by Dyno Nobel
Nobel Fire is Dyno Nobel's newest and most comprehensive blasting software platform, encompassing multiple integrated modules. The Electronic Shot Report (ESR) module creates regulatory-compliant blast reports. The Mobile App enables tablet-based field use including shot design, drilling QC, hole quality control, and charging data input to a real-time cloud-based network. Advanced Vibration Prediction accounts for confinement, charge weight, bearing, geological differences, and constructive/destructive interference.
