SkyVerse automates the entire visualisation pipeline for mining environments — processing data from drones, LiDAR, and other sensors, creating 3D meshes from 2D images using NVIDIA pretrained neural networks, converting them to USD (Universal Scene Description) format, and bringing them into NVIDIA Omniverse for live-synced digital twin creation. SkyVerse uses NVIDIA Jetson edge devices to process terabytes of data per day into kilobyte-size analytics for frontline users.

The platform can simulate variables such as weather and equipment failures up to five years into the future while learning from five years of historical operational data. It automatically identifies toes and crests of mine benches — reducing identification time from multiple days to minutes — and eliminates thousands of manual open-pit measurement interactions per site per year. The Omniverse integration enables collaborative, immersive access to the digital twin across distributed teams.

SkyVerse competes in the drone-based digital twin space with Emesent's Hovermap and Aura combination, differentiating through its NVIDIA Omniverse integration, predictive simulation capabilities, and focus on surface mining operations. It is used at Anglo American, Teck Resources, and Kinross operations.
