BLASTMAP

BLASTMAP is BME's flagship blast design and planning software, with over a decade of use in surface mining. It is available as BLASTMAP Standard (for smaller operations) and BLASTMAP Premium (for larger mines, with additional modules for fragmentation prediction, vibration prediction, blasted rock radius, contouring, and through-seam design). The software enables users to create and manage hole layouts, drilling angles, dimensional compliance, and timing designs with 2D and 3D visualisation.

BLASTMAP Underground, released in 2021, caters to tunnelling and shaft designs with tools for any block shape, cut and perimeter hole designs, cost/quantity predictions, timing simulation, and vibration/fragmentation prediction. The software integrates with BME's AXXIS electronic detonator system and exports design data to XPLOLOG for field deployment.
