Pronto

Pronto is an autonomous vehicle technology company that pivoted from on-road to off-road and mining applications. In July 2025, Pronto acquired SafeAI — which had raised over $75M in total funding — creating a combined entity offering a tiered technology portfolio: an affordable camera-based AHS for smaller operations and a premium multi-sensor ASIL D-certified system (the highest automotive safety integrity level) for large mines.

Pronto's AHS is OEM-agnostic and retrofit-capable, designed for rapid deployment on existing truck fleets in days to weeks — versus years for OEM-integrated solutions from Komatsu or Caterpillar. Current deployments include Heidelberg Materials (100+ quarry trucks globally) and active sites in Chile, Texas, and Brazil. Subsidiary Pollen provides low-cost LTE wireless mine networks. Pronto is primarily an autonomy company, but increasingly relevant as autonomous haulage and fleet dispatch converge.
