Prediktera

Prediktera is a Swedish company spun off from Umeå University that develops hyperspectral imaging analysis software for mineral identification in drill core and geological samples. Acquired by Norsk Elektro Optikk (maker of HySpex hyperspectral cameras) in 2022, Prediktera's Breeze Geo software pairs with HySpex Core Scanner hardware to form an integrated core imaging and analysis solution.

The company developed Breeze Geo in collaboration with the Colorado School of Mines/CASERM, with ongoing mining-focused research partnerships. Prediktera occupies a specialist niche within the broader core scanning ecosystem, focusing specifically on hyperspectral mineral classification — a complementary capability to XRF-based systems like Veracio's Minalyzer CS and GeologicAI's scanning platform.
