Intelex Technologies, founded in 1992 in Toronto, is one of the most established global providers of SaaS-based Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality management software. The company's platform helps organisations improve performance, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with internationally accepted standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. In 2019, Intelex was acquired by Industrial Scientific, a Fortive subsidiary, for approximately US$570M — the largest acquisition in the history of EHSQ pure-play software at that time.

Intelex is a horizontal EHSQ platform serving 10+ industry verticals, with a dedicated Metals and Mining vertical offering tailored solutions for mining companies. In 2020, Intelex acquired ehsAI to add AI-powered compliance automation. Its position within Fortive's industrial IoT ecosystem provides access to connected sensing technology from Industrial Scientific including gas detection and connected worker safety, creating an integrated hardware-software EHS capability.
