GDMS

GDMS (Geoscience Data Management Systems) is an Australian geoscience data company producing immersive 3D software for tailings storage facility management. The platform was designed by tailings engineers and positions itself as combining tailings design and management with GISTM compliance in a single environment. GDMS integrates live data, compliance tools, and advanced 3D visualisation into a cloud-hosted platform. The software is distributed through REC, an integrated tailings design and water security engineering firm.

GDMS covers the entire TSF lifecycle from conceptualisation to closure, with autonomous satellite-linked hardware for real-time data collection. It is used by mine operators globally for GISTM compliance and water management. The company is particularly distinctive in bridging engineering-grade 3D modelling and live operational monitoring in a single tool.
