Journey Management System
About Journey Management System
Designed specifically for DIDO (drive-in, drive-out) workers and lone operators, the Journey Management System provides automatic notifications via geofenced checkpoints and integrates with in-vehicle fatigue tracking cameras and satellite handheld devices. It fills a critical gap in workforce safety for mining operations where workers travel long distances by road rather than by charter flight.
The system monitors worker journeys in real time, triggering alerts when workers fail to check in at designated points along their route. Integration with in-vehicle cameras and satellite devices ensures coverage in remote areas beyond mobile network range — common for mine sites in the Pilbara, outback Queensland, and similar geographies.
Originally developed by Ionyx and acquired by Quartex in December 2025, JMS now forms part of the broader Quartex workforce safety ecosystem alongside FIFO logistics, site access control, and training compliance modules.
